Hey everyone! I'm moving to Davis Square in a couple weeks and I'm psyched, but also totally clueless about Somerville. I've got a couple Q's to start with. What are some of your personal favorite restaurants, shops, and fun spots to hang out? I realize this probably gets asked a lot, so sorry if you're sick of that question. Also, and odder, who's the best company up there to go with for gas? This is the first place I've lived in that uses gas heat and I'm not sure which companies have the best rates but are also reliable...so who do you like and who do you hate? Finally, and possibly most importantly, which restaurants deliver? Thanks so much for any advice you can give!

High Speed Dilema

One more question, since you guys have been so helpful (sorry to post twice in one day)...I just found out Verizon DSL isn't available in my new place (ugh!), so what do you guys use for high-speed? Am I stuck with paying up the nose for Comcast?

I know this was posted here a few weeks ago, but a last minute mention can't hurt, right?

So I'm sure many of you are sitting around right now going "Gee, I'm home on a Tuesday night, I'm bored. Dude, this sucks!" Or something to that effect, at least. Well... for those bored ones among you who are theatrically inclined, you should consider stopping at the First Congregational Church on College Ave for tonight's auditions for You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, happening tonight and tomorrow from 7 - 9.
