I just saw that 464 Broadway (right outside Magoun Sq) has put out two cat carriers with their trash barrels at the curb. I can't fathom why someone would throw these away when there are so many rescue groups who could probably use them, but if they are still there by the morning the trash guys get them. So someone do a good deed and take the carriers and some kittens and give them an awesome home :)
