trinket box?

hi everyone -

my beloved little kitty passed away last week, and i'm expecting her ashes any day now. i'd like to put them in a beautiful little box, maybe the size of a trinket box. i checked the tiffany's website, and *choke* i cannot justify $1200 for something like that... plus, i'd rather find something locally, since she spent most of her life here. so, does anyone recommend any shops in the area that would sell something like this, or an artisan who makes something like this, that i could check out? my taste leans towards the sleek/mod/retro, but the box doesn't have to be... if it's beautiful, it's beautiful.

It's a little ways from Davis Square but if you were the woman who helped me find my earring across the street from Saint Clements Church - THANK YOU! I was having such a crummy day, then I lose that earring that has so much sentimental value and your kindness and willingness to help means so much to me. Seriously, you really turned my day around.
