Quick post to let folks know about a modest moving sale tonight (Friday) 6:30-8:00pm at the corner of Orchard and Day. I hate leaving this neighborhood, my home for a long time...*sigh*

Here's a nice idea for donating your used books to libraries in the Gulf Coast that are still working to rebuild after Katrina.

rent will be $725 a month, utilities run around $90 without phone, cable or internet. Landline is less than $10 a person, cable and internet are bundled, would be about $55 for your share, $30 if we just keep internet and ditch cable TV.
The place:
- next to Tufts University
- large 2 bedroom
- washer and dryer in basement
- wireless cable internet
- cool built in wooden cabinets
- one very friendly cat
- often cluttered but always sanitary
