Meet-up: JSM next month

Since Joe Sent Me won the previous poll, they will be the location for our next meet-up.

We already have a date set of Thursday, September 11th (yes, I know). The meet-up will start at 7pm and we will be meeting in the back right corner near the dart boards. As usual, I'll post a poll a week before the event to get a general sense of how many people to expect. Put it on your social calendar now!

There is no red sox game that evening and so the bar generally shouldn't be as crowded.

hard drive enclosure - free

i have a 3.5" hard drive enclosure that doesn't quite work. it has 1 USB 2.0 port and 2 Firewire ports. it's all opened up, and it smells like magic smoke. i think the damaged part of the circuit board is an inductor coil. that aside, though, it's probably ok. if anyone collects, repairs, or scavenges such things, it's yours. otherwise, it's going in the trash.
