Wanted: For Green Art Projects (Any condition): Skateboards, Skis, Snowboards, Bike Frames

Hey if anyone has old ski's, skateboards or snowboards (the decks really), rotting away in a basement, I would love to take them off your hands for some recycled art projects I am working on. Any condition --cracked, painted, stickered, whatever.

Also looking for bike frames/bikes for another associated project--a tiny bit selective on he bike frames.

Viva la Vinal Festival at the Growing Center 8/28-8/29

Just wanted to get the word out about the Fourth Annual Viva la Vinal Music Festival that will take place at the Growing Center next Friday and Saturday 8/28 and 8/29.

The event will run from 4pm to 10pm both days, and will feature live music–an eclectic mix of music, including, folk, world, bluegrass, Americana, and local singer-songwriters –food, and a raffle with prizes from local businesses. The all-ages event is free, though donations to support the musicians and the Growing Center are welcome.

This year’s Children’s Hour will be Friday, August 28th from 4-5pm, featuring the melodic, interactive music of Charlie Hope, appealing to both kids and adults.

People are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs and spend the evening in this unique garden setting. There will be a concession stand with affordable and healthy snacks and beverages, with all proceeds going to the artists and the Growing Center.
