I am moving and after 3 years of furnishing the main rooms of a 3-bedroom apartment, I am returning to living in just a bedroom for a while. So I'm selling a LOT of stuff.

I have bankers boxes full of SF & Fantasy books (including a lot of classics; I used to work at pandemonium, and I'm actually clearing out about 100 books that I've *meant* to read, by the likes of Stross, Butler, Vinge, etc), lots of outdated computer books (though many of them are for things like Perl and Oracle and VB, where the basics are still going to be the same for beginners regardless. Ignore that WAP and WML book in the corner). There is a casebox of older roleplaying games (for a variant of older; some are old, some are like, the last edition of Burning Wheel).

Piles of kitchen things (why do I have this many hand held beaters when I own a rotating bowl counter top one?), 4 rubbermaid 30gallon containers of women's clothing in sizes 18 to 28, shoes (10 wides for the most part, that were not wide enough for me). An inexplicable number of things with monkeys on them. Gardening things. Lots of knickknacks. Several halloween cauldrons.

A really decent men's bike. That 1963 women's Schwinn that I went to sell before and then kinda lamed out on doing so. a couple small bookcases.

You know the drill. No earlybirds, natch; 10 am is already ungodly early for me to get up.

Hey all,
so I haven't been out to it since last year, but does Saturday pickup ultimate frisbee still happen?
Just swung by the field and didn't see anyone...

If not, anywhere else I can toss a disc around today?

Anyone have any excess/overgrown ground cover that you'd be willing to share?  I'd specifically be itnerested in pachysandra but anything other than ivy would be very much appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

Linden Ave and Gilson Terrace in Somerville, for the next half hour or so (then we're taking stuff to goodwill, where you will pay more).

My desire not to repack this stuff is not to be underestimated.

Walking up Highland this afternoon, I found a Comcast remote, brand new, batteries still inside the wrappings, in the intersection of Aberdeen and Highland. It still looked pristine, so I'm guessing that it wasn't there that long.

If you lost it (or, I guess, if you're willing to lie about losing it for some reason) email me at genevramcneil [at] gmail [dot] com and I'll return it to you.

There's a working, larger-screen TV, fairly light, and a nice indoor bench sitting on the sidewalk outside 7 Dickson St. Free to the first takers.
