In my backyard near Ball Square, I have three orange-flowered rhododendrons. The previous owners planted them, and they're nice enough plants; but I don't want to devote so much of my extremely limited yard space to exotic rhododendrons. So I'd like to give at least two of them away to people who want them.

The plants are a little spindly, so I think they would benefit from more sun than they've had in my semi-shady yard. I'd like to move them early this spring before they bloom, so probably early April. If you're interested in getting one, respond to this post and we can work out how and when to move them.

At an open house in East Arlington today, we were speculating that the Green Line terminating at Route 16 could potentially drive up the value of the area within walking distance. The realtor there said that was no longer happening and that the committee in charge of planning the expansion had decided on Tufts as the final stop location. Is this really true? My weak attempts at Google haven't turned up anything backing that statement, but I'm admittedly being lazy about it. Is there a good place to stay abreast of all the latest developments in the Green Line coming to Somerville/Medford?
