My friend Pauline Lim has placed nine 'urban shrine' assemblages all over Somerville. The one closest to Davis Square looks like this. You've probably passed by it without realizing what it is:

Pauline has published the GPS coordinates of each shrine, so you can wander the city on foot or bike to find each one. (Take advantage of our non-winter winter.) If you don't have a GPS, you can instead just enter the coordinates of each one into Google Maps to find the locations.
Find all nine of them by Friday, February 24, and e-mail Pauline a photo of yourself next to each one, and she'll enter you into a drawing for a stainless steel water bottle with this picture on it.
Somerville Patch published an article about Pauline's project this week: Art That's Fun: Find Somerville's Hidden Urban Shrines
