C’mon. You know you have it…bags (dare we even say trunks?) filled with yarn, fabric, books, patterns, half-made projects, needles, and so much more, hiding away in corners, just waiting to be used…
It’s okay! Some projects are better left undone! But here’s your chance to clean up your space, come find some hidden goods, and get re-inspired.
Donate your items to The Great Yarn Swap. This event will be an open exchange of all things related to fiber. The items will be free, but we do ask for a door donation of toiletries or canned goods to support SHC’s Project Soup, its local food pantry that provides a weekly community dinner and also delivers groceries to individuals, families, elderly, disabled and home bound people in our neighborhood.
The Great Yarn Swap will be held in conjunction with the Nave Gallery's semi-annual Flea Market, a fundraiser for the gallery space. If you have items that you would like to donate to the Flea Market, we will gladly accept!
Both will take place on May 19th at the Nave Gallery. The Flea Market will be from 10-3, and The Great Yarn Swap from 10-5.
Items for both the Flea Market (just in time for spring cleaning!) and The Great Yarn Swap can be dropped off by appointment (please call (617) 625-4823), or during gallery hours on:
Sun April 22, 2 pm - 5 pm
Sat & Sun May 5th & 6th 1 pm- 5 pm
Sat & Sun May 12th & 13th 1 pm- 5 pm
Friday May 18th 4 pm -7 pm
Thanks so much! If you have any questions, please email tori (dot) costa (at) gmail (dot) com.
