Looking for a 2BR near the redline

My husband and I are finally moving back to Boston (former Ball Sq/Powderhouse Circle residents) and we'd love to find a place near the Redline. I'm finishing med school and will start work at Boston Medical Center, my hubbie works at NPR. If you didn't know us when we lived here a few years ago, I'm sure we know people in common!

We're looking for
-2BR
-allows cats (we have two)
-preferably deleaded, but at least well-maintained (we're expecting our first baby)
-preferably under $2000

Anyone know of any leads?

Searching for cherry pie on Sunday

Anyone know where I could get a decent cherry pie today somewhere relatively nearby (not run-of-the-mill local grocery store pie--one without all the preservatives/additives, etc.)
