Thanks to those from the LJ who connected me with the local urban chicken keepers. I was able to interview them for a Seedstock article, which you can find at:
http://seedstock.com/2012/08/13/chickens-in-the-city-practical-advice-on-managing-an-urban-coop/

As an aside, when I originally posted there was some confusion as to whether Cambridge allows chickens as there are people who live in the city that keep chickens. When I called the city, I was told that they are not permitted. Those who posted the locations of the chickens in Cambridge may want to edit their posts to help keep these folks outside of the city's attention.

I have been clearing out my studio of many art/craft/sewing supplies, some of which have never been used. I'm also taking this opportunity to clean out some extra stationary, candles, and string lighting that I have left after our crafty wedding. I'm selling the items on Craigslist (see links below). Feel free to email me if you are interested. Thanks!

Scrapbooking/Stationary Supplies (includes lots of Martha Stewart supplies)
Sewing Supplies (cross-stitch kits and fabric)
Art Supplies (lots of brand new canvas boards and canvases)
Candles in Glass Votive Holders and Outdoor/Indoor String Lighting
Brand New Crane & Co. Stationary

There is a vast quantity of small and medium boxes on the porch of 13 Park Ave. Please come take them before they disappear tomorrow.

Work Your Mind: Desk Puzzle

This is actually a pretty cool desk. It's an awkward shape to fit into awkward corners, under eaves or dormers, and in other hard-to-manage spaces in S'ville houses. It was designed to connect two straight desks into an L-shaped one, but it will stand on its own. It's a nice dark cherry (wood veneered to look like wood).

All the hardware is present, I just took it apart to get it down the stairs, and could kind of hand-wave explain how it goes back together, but the instructions are long gone, so you'll have to puzzle a little to assemble it.

Treadmill pending pick-up
Work Your Body: Treadmill

A moderately decent treadmill. The "Pro-Form 760 EKG." The bed folds up-right when not in use. Bonus work out: It's on a third floor up a narrow staircase. We got it up here somehow, so it will go back down, but that's the cost of this free treadmill.
Here's what Livestrong has to say about this model [LINK].

If you want either of these items, PLEASE include some way for me to contact you in your reply. You can email my username @livejournal.com Thanks!
