Free Black Leather Couch

Hi all,

We have a black leather couch that no longer works in our living room layout. It is old but still has plenty of life left in it. We bought it used 12 years ago. It is part of a sectional, so there is only an armrest on one side (the right side if you are looking at it). The other side is open/arm-less. In the past we have worked around this by having it up against a wall on the armless side, or have it join with another couch to make corner out of it (which was really nice, actually). It has some wear on the arm, which we have taped over with black duct tape and which holds it well. We do have a cat, so if you are allergic to cats, I would not take it. We are non-smokers, and bedbug free. The rough dimensions are 36 inches wide by 80" long. I can probably figure out how to send pictures if anyone wants to see it.

It's free to anyone who can come and get it (we have no vehicle). We are just outside Davis, off Mass Ave near the border with Arlington. (it is inside right now, so has not been out weathering or anything).

coat donation?

I've got a lot of coats and winter clothing (thermals, sweaters, sleeping bag, etc) I'm not using and would like to donate to a shelter or coat drive. Anybody know any such place?

Stilt-making with Open Air Circus @ Parts and Crafts this weekend!

On Saturday, December 15, we'll be spending the afternoon making stilts with Open Air Circus as a fundraiser for their August show — come by, make some stilts, and help support a wonderful community organization!

Date: December 15, 12-4:30 p.m.
Cost: Free to learn to stilt, $50 for stilts (proceeds benefit OAC summer show)
Location: Sprout / Parts and Crafts, 339R Summer Street
Age: Open to kids and adults of any age
