What to do with excess compost?

I want to compost my food waste, but there is zero backyard in my lot and I'm not much of a container gardener. So I'm wondering what I might do with excess compost. Are there folks near Ball Sq who would accept my compost for their own use? I googled around and checked the "compost" tag, and found a few cheap services and a bunch of references to Whole Foods, but I don't have a car and I was kinda hoping I could haul a bucket a few blocks once a week. So if you live near Lowden Ave and you want more compost, let me know? (Or if you are involved with the garden on the Community Path, perhaps?)

We have just gotten a new TV and wish to give away our old one. It is a decent sized Sony, over 10 years old, in great working condition. It is very heavy! Need free used carpet on short notice, can give it back slightly more worn in a couple of days

I'm doing a sort of art project that will be shown tonight and I need 8x20feet or 28inchesx60feet of carpet. If you give me a piece that is 8 feet by something, I can give it back with a little more wear on Monday or Tuesday. Garbage removal, specifically food-ish garbage removal

When I first moved into my house there was an industrial size drum of liquid malt extract in the basement. Over the past decade or so, it's sat there, starting to rust, and I really want to get rid of it. I think that because it's food stuff, it may have different rules applying to it. Thoughts?

I also have over a decade's worth of various crap, including odd scraps of wood from projects, screens & storms from windows that have been replaced, etc. I know I can get a dumpster, but are there people who will come and clear all this crap out for me? If the price differential isn't that great, it may be worthwhile for me to hire someone to take care of it for me.
