8 hungry volunteers needed!

Hi all,

We are trying to fill 8 volunteer slots still available for the East Broadway Foodie Crawl in East Somerville next Tuesday, September 10th. We seek "ambassadors" to assist our attendees as they navigate the 15 restaurants and wine shop featured in this amazing event.

The Foodie Crawl is the prime fundraising event for East Somerville Main Streets, an amazing grassroots organization that represents a vibrant and diverse neighborhood.

Volunteers work 1.5-2 hours and have time to enjoy the event for free!

Red Line diversion schedule changed again - will run normally September 14-15

the latest e-mail from MassDOT:

The MBTA Red Line diversion planned for the weekend of Saturday, Sept. 14, and Sunday, Sept. 15, has been cancelled and the MBTA Red Line diversion planned for the weekend of Saturday, Oct. 19, and Sunday, Oct. 20, has be [sic] postponed to the weekend of Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24.

That page now says that Red Line diversions will occur on these weekends:
October 26-27, November 2-3, and November 23-24.
