An interesting WBUR piece on possible future development in Union Square. TL;DR: In anticipation of the Green Line's arrival, the city has reserved the right to take large swaths of Union Square by eminent domain in order to sell them to a single developer, rather than letting them be developed piecemeal by the current owners or whoever they choose to sell to.

Chester Street and both of its sidewalks have been reopened today. The chain link fences are gone, but you now have to walk under scaffolding on both the east sidewalk of Chester Street and the south sidewalk of Elm Street.

Dunkin Donuts is still closed. Elm Street is back to two lanes, but the bus stop is still at its temporary location in front of Buffalo Exchange and Anna's.

ETA 11/15: Dunkin Donuts reopend some time today.
