ComiCazi to Host Geek Comedy Night

So, I'm supposed to start adding some lap swimming to my weekly routine, and as I poked around for what pools are convenient to either my home or work, I stumbled across this one, which seems to be perfectly situated between me and POrter Square T station. I'd probably go after work (6:30-7pm arrival for 30 mins of swimming) or on Saturday. I'm a slow swimmer, but if there're too many people to even circle swim in the lane effectively, I'm likely to get a little frustrated. Anybody using this pool currently/recently? Any thoughts on crowding/schedule? How about the locker rooms?

Theatre@First presents SomerVaudeVille, an evening showcasing the talents of the local theatre community, at Johnny D’s Uptown on Wednesday, May 14th at 8pm.

Celebrating the success of our first IndieGogo campaign and raising the curtain on the second decade of Somerville community theatre, SomerVaudeVille is a chance to relax with friends and catch some amazing performers.

Like the first SomerVaudeVille in 2008, this year’s version features performers regularly seen on Theatre@First stages, together with other local artists. Director Micha Goolsby performs original music, Mike Haddad and Jeannè Callinan bust out the laughs, Kitty Drexel steams up the room with the power of her voice, local tap artist Ryan Casey steps up—and that’s only the beginning! Comedy, music, dance and drama collide in an exciting night of thrills and laughter.
