Rough Cut Social: a screening for video works in progress
A Free Local Film Screening: Get feedback on your own video work or just come attend to watch the film screenings, no film submission required.
Snacks will be provided! Spread the word to the 'Ville and beyond (neighbor towns).

Somerville Community Access TV in partnership with Arlington Community Media, Inc. presents: ROUGH CUT MOVIE SOCIAL. This event open to all media makers who have a video work-in-progress. This means a TV show, documentary, experimental video, music videos, etc.

There will be a select group of filmmakers guiding the feedback dialogue throughout the event.
Have this be the test run and polish up your video work for the @Center for Arts at the Armory's f/Stop Local event, which takes submissions and airs completed works.

FORMATS: Under 5minutes. Have your project exported (to a quicktime .mov file) or bring it on a DVD or a thumb drive.

This Sunday, June 29, from 7 to 9 pm, there will be a candidates' forum for the 34th Middlesex seat in the Mass. House of Representatives. This district includes Somerville wards 4 and 7 and adjoining areas of Medford. Until April 4, it was represented by Carl Sciortino.

All five candidates for the seat (4 Democrats and one independent) have been invited to participate. Carl Sciortino will moderate the event.

The forum will take place at Tufts University's Barnum Hall, room 008, 163 Packard Avenue in Medford.

The forum is sponsored by Cambridge-Somerville for Change, Progressive Democrats of Somerville, and Medford for Massachusetts.
