If you have wondered what's up with the gluten drama, come and listen. Have a cider (gluten-free). We sit in the back room with the stage area. Come a bit early if you want to order food (I usually get there around 6:30ish) and be ready for the presentation at 7ish. People hang around and chat usually afterwards too.
PS: The Burren has been great about hosting science topics. This group and the Science By the Pint folks have been having terrific presentations there. http://sitn.hms.harvard.edu/science-by-the-pint/
