Fiber destash

I have a LOT of fiber I doubt I will ever ever use, about 2 large bins of the stuff. Anyone want to buy it? I don't have time to get the details of it all, and some of it will be mystery fiber, but it's a variety of wools, alpaca-wool blend (a very large amount of it). Varieties include merino, shetland, cormo probably, some specialty, some cross stuff. Some of it is dyed, some is not. Some will have sparkly stuff in it, some might have VM. Some I've pulled apart and played with, some has never been touched after I bought it. It is all scented. Why? Because I'm dumb and put something scented into the boxes.

I'm asking $250 for the entire lot of it, plus I'll give you whatever fiber samples I can find. I'd really like to be done with it, so I'd really love for someone to take it all in one go (although you can make two trips if you don't have a car/helpers. I'm sure there are pounds and pounds of it.

And for that matter, I also have a Ladybug I don't use. Let me know if you're interested in that instead/in addition.

This Wednesday 10/14 is deadline to register to vote for November's city elections

This Wednesday, October 14, is the deadline for registering to vote in any November 3 city election. Somerville, Cambridge, Medford, and Boston are all cities that are holding elections that day. (Arlington and Belmont are towns, and therefore not having elections in November.)

You can register to vote, or change your registration address if you've recently moved, in a few different ways:

• In person at your local city hall, which should be open for this purpose until 8 pm Wednesday
• Fill out this form online, print it, sign it, and mail it, postmarked by this Wednesday
• Pick up a paper voter registration form at a library, fill it in, sign it, and mail it, postmarked by this Wednesday
• NEW: If you have a Massachusetts drivers' license or state ID, you can register to vote, or change your address, online. Deadline is still this Wednesday.
