Oct. 31st, 2015 05:05 pmkeithn.livejournal.comThe election for Ward 6 Alderman (plus other local offices) is this Tuesday. Aside from two leaflets in my door last week, I have heard almost nothing about this election since the preliminary back on September 17.
Has this been the experience of others?
After the preliminary I anticipated Lance Davis being the heavy favorite to win the general election, but with little campaigning leading to little voter interest leading to low turnout, who knows what will happen. I certainly didn't expect Elizabeth Weinbloom to place 2nd in the preliminary, and now she has the endorsement of the Somerville Journal and Somerville Times (for what that's worth). Davis had more votes than everyone else combined on September 17, but who can say if the same people show up to vote on Tuesday?
