6 weeks of construction on Day St

Some of you probably noticed the construction on Day St. The original parking restriction signs said 3/23-3/25, but the construction is still going on. I called the helpline today and was told that it's going to continue through May 6. The road is closed during the day while construction is going on, then it seems to be open to traffic at night. There's no parking allowed at all.

I'm surprised there was no notification about this. I get a phone call and an email every time this street is closed for 3 hours for a road race, but they never sent any sort of notification for 6 weeks of construction! Things should be rough, especially when street sweeping starts tomorrow.

Winter Hill Brewing opens tomorrow (Friday) at 4 pm

For some strange reason they announced it in a Facebook post instead of on their website blog.

Winter Hill Brewing is at 328 Broadway, just east of School Street. It is Somerville's third brewery, after Slumbrew and Aeronaut. They are also open in the mornings for coffee.

Yumi: Closed yesterday?

I tried to go to Yumi for the 1st time last night and the place was completely dark at 7pm. No sign on the door, no sign of disaster. From what little we could see, the tables were set, and the place was just empty/locked.

Anyone have any idea what was up?

Did another hot pot place (after the one in Porter Galleria) just suddenly go OOB? (ETA: No, they didn't, but we still don't know why they were closed on Wed, Mar. 30)
