So, my household is doing some amount of "spring" cleaning (we're late) and just got through a good portion of the kitchen, and realized we've been holding on to empty spice/jam jars (mostly Penzey jars, with a few other similar spice jars and some small jars from friends who make jam) which we're not going to use. (We also have an assortment of loose leaf decaf "tea" (mostly fruit and herb infusions) that we're not going to use, if anybody wants those.) Prop 2½ override coming to Somerville this November?

I received a telephone survey this afternoon regarding a potential ballot question this fall that would raise property taxes to pay for the new Somerville High School. This is the first I'd heard that a so-called "Prop 2½ override" was being considered, which, I believe, would be the first such vote in Somerville's history. Does anyone have more information about this?
