Davis Square CVS tried to limit what you could buy on Christmas Day

The Davis Square CVS had these signs up inside and outside the store yesterday, limiting what you were supposed to buy there on Christmas Day I didn't try to buy anything, so I have no idea whether this was actually enforced in any way. The self-checkout terminals were still working.

Neither of the other two CVS stores I visited yesterday, at South Station and Harvard Square, had these signs.

Back in 2014, the store had a similar sign up for Thanksgiving, but I didn't get a photo then.

JonMon loses another lawsuit, this time against Encyclopedia Dramatica

Jonathan Monsarrat, also known around here as "JonMon", just lost another lawsuit. This one was a copyright claim against Encyclopedia Dramatica.

Long-time readers of this forum and its LiveJournal predecessor will recall that JonMon sued me, former Somerville Journal editor Deb Filcman, and 100 local "John Does" in April 2013. Thanks to excellent pro bono representation by hotshot Cambridge lawyer Dan Booth, we were able to persuade JonMon to dismiss his suit against us five weeks later.
