Local community resilience

I've been delighted to see this week that people are self-organizing into local mutual aid societies and neighborhood networks! It looks like this is the most relevant one for our neck of the woods:
https://mutualaidmamas.com/ "Mutual Aid Medford and Somerville (MAMAS)"
I also participated in an effort to flyer our neighborhood, giving people links to the existing neighborhood mailing list, but also phone, email, and street address contact info for several people in case people couldn't figure out how to join the list, didn't want to, or didn't have internet access. We've had some positive responses from that, and I'd encourage people to do something similar in their neighborhood. Two to three blocks seems to be a good size for a "pod", as MAMAS calls it.
I'd encourage others to do something similar!
