I was having a really tough time finding a COVID-19 vaccine dose for my 1st-grader -- CVS, Walgreens, and similar were all booked solid 2 weeks out, and so were all the school clinics I could find. Her pediatrician won't even start *scheduling* until this Friday. But I did finally find one site in Somerville that actually has doses:

This is at 176 Somerville Ave, and they apparently accept walk-ins as well as appointments. (I didn't get a clear sense of what the chances are of showing up and being turned away, but a nurse there did say something about usually accepting walkins until 5 PM or so.) I was able to get a next-day appointment, and as of now there are pediatric appointment slots open starting on Monday.
(The nurse also did an excellent job -- my daughter said it just felt like a pinprick -- and the bandaid selection was apparently entirely acceptable, which I've come to understand is very important to some kids!)
