Would anyone like my compostables?  It's mostly vegetable and fruit trimmings with some egg shells, coffee grounds, and the occasional paper towel.  I get Boston Organics, so most of it is organic too.  :)  I live near the Somerville Library at Highland and Walnut and would like to drop it off somewhere every other week or so.  Let me know, thanks!

you can drop off compost at whole foods in cambridge (the one on prospect st). There are bins at the back of the parking lot.

You can probably also drop it off at the cambridge DPW on norfolk st, although that is technically only for cambridge residents (although I've never been asked to prove residency).

You are very close to the Somerville Growing Center, which has large compost bins and would likely be happy to take your contributions.

Also, the Cambridge DPW yard is only open a few hours a week, while the compost bins at the Prospect Street Whole Foods are available 24/7.

There's also a local youth program that does pickup: http://www.groundworksomerville.org/programs/green-jobs/soilcycle/
