So I have 2 people committed for May 1st to move in and need one more to fill my super fantastic 4b/2br duplex near Thurston/Broadway. $500/month, giant living room, awesome kitchen, free laundry, and room with your own private covered porch! There's someone here in DSLJ (I think it's soft_shoulder) who is about to have to live in her car for awhile while she saves up the last month and security deposit parts of first-last-security. Maybe you and she could work something out if she can get you the first month's $500 upfront and pay up the rest over time? I don't know her, but her post here really tugged on my heart so I thought I'd mention her.

I can't find any info about her story on here or her contact info...is there a link or something? Personally, if I thought she'd be a good match for the place i'd be fine with it. But at the end of the day my landlord has the final say and has had to deal with a lot of people in the place who've totally bailed on rent over the past few years.

Ah...unfortunately I'm super allergic to cats and I think one of the other roommates is as well and she doesn't seem too willing to part with her's :-\
