davis_squareWe've got a female black & white "tuxedo" cat here that wandered into our yard Thursday night (May 6), looking very confused. Since it seemed to be declawed (actually, it just has very well-trimmed claws) we took it in. The vet said the cat has been spayed, and could not find a microchip. No one has reported it missing to Animal Control.
Having heard nothing from the owner, we think it is an indoor/outdoor cat, and that it is often gone for long periods. (If so, not cool -- it doesn't have long enough claws to defend itself.) It is staying at a friend's house indefinitely, and if no one claims it, he's keeping it.
We're close to the intersection of Broadway and Mass Ave in Arlington Center. If you are the owner (or have seen a "lost" poster), please call me at 434-964-7592.
