Cat sitter recommendations?

My wife and I are looking for a cat sitter because our usual sitter won't be available to cover some of our upcoming travel plans. Last thread on this was a year ago, so I wanted to ask again. Any recommendations? Thanks!

hi! depending on when and where, if you can't find anyone else i'd be able to.

i'm not a 'professional' per se, but i've nearly always lived with cats in the many years i've been in the boston area (and thus taken care of them when my roommates were out of town), and i have also cat-sit before for friends. i'd be happy to give you their emails or have them forward a reference.

We used Stinky's (http://www.stinkyskittens-doggiestoo.com/) when we went to Japan and Korea, and they were awesome. We had an older cat who needed daily meds, and they even handled that with no problem.

I used Happy Tails in September when I last needed to get a sitter. I don't recommend Stinky's, as the woman who runs the operation has been really disorganized at me in a couple of different sitting instances, and actively rude on the phone another time. But I have to say the sitting we received was fine, and that it's just this lady I seem to have an issue with.

Thanks so much for the offer, but we're hoping to find someone to come to the house. Our cat is pretty old and needs medicine 2x/day, so she's a bit more high-maintenance than we feel comfortable asking friends to handle, especially over a holiday weekend.

She has been taking care of our two cats for 10 years and, as a former vet tech, has lots of experience administering meds and helping animals with special needs.
