Long-time lurker and first time poster who is moving out of Davis Square for Arlington Heights where the planes are not as loud.

Yard Sale is Sat, Jul 24 from 8am until 2pm 45 Chester St - just a block down the street from Redbones!

Some stuff that is available: 

kitchen stuff:  glasses, plates, small appliances, serving spoons, pots, pans, bowls
women's clothing - mostly medium but some small and large sizes
women's shoes - mostly size 8 & 8.5
rugs
end tables
arm chairs
tv's:  one with built in DVD player
Xmas decor: ornaments, wreath, other stuff
lamps
women's handbags
small vacuum & dustbuster
shelves
suitcases
decorative items: vases, tchotchkes
and more

No kids yet. My boyfriend and I came across Menotomy Rocks park a few weeks ago and were surprised at how big the park is for such an urban area.

Yup. There are several reasonably nice parks in Arlington--I just discovered the lovely little one (though bigger than I would have guessed) between the library and town hall. There's also the Sunderland Woods just up the hill and over the border into Lexington.

Robbins Farm Park is lovely too -- but you'll tire yourself out if you try to bike to it along Eastern Avenue. (I've tried several times, have yet to succeed without getting off and walking.)
