Is there anywhere in Davis that does free wireless? I know Starbucks does the pay thing, but what about Someday or Diesel or elsewhere? Thanks!

Not Davis, but near by: True Grounds in Ball Square has free wireless and has yummy scones.

Diesel has a pay deal, too, or at least they did the last time I was there a few months ago.

Yes they do, and they seem to care about keeping it alive more than Carberry's did with theirs. (But they have been open only morning this month so far, due to renovations...)
