We have this problem in our apartment building in Spring Hill. Once when I was working from home and was around to get a delivery, I asked the driver about it. He said that there had been an issue at our building with a package going missing after delivery, and they now aren't allowed to leave packages at our building without an someone there to sign for it. (Regardless of whether the back of the slip has been signed.)
Luckily, I can ship things to workplaces, so it's only an issue when I forget to change my shipping address.
