Somerville snow emergency: move cars by midnight

Somerville has declared a snow emergency. It starts at 8 pm Tuesday 1/11, and by 8 pm, they mean midnight. http://www.somervillema.gov/alert.cfm?alert_id=175

The way this one was announced, you can move your cars into municipal or school lots starting at 4 pm, and must move them from the even side of the street by midnight.

The linked announcement also says that Somerville public schools are closed tomorrow.

My Largely Mythological Husband and I have changed the name of "snow" to "sky vomit," in order to better express our distaste and horror of the stuff. "Snow" sounds delightful, magical, inspiring--"sky vomit" more aptly represents the repulsiveness of something falling from above and making everyone miserable.
