Workout buddy

Hey all!
So, my doc said today that I need to lose about 30 lbs (ughhh). I have a membership at BSC but it's the whole "getting out of the house and to the gym" thing that really gets me. So I'm turning to you all... who wants to be my workout buddy? It might require a little nagging in the beginning (aka, get your fat ass to the gym!) but I think knowing I have to be meeting someone will be a big motivator.

We don't have to actually exercise together, unless someone wants to do a class with me. I'd be game for that, too!

What time of day are you able to go? I'm a right after work person so usually there shortly after 5pm depending on traffic (I drive back from Wellesley so if there is a traffic problem I'm sometimes later)

I just signed up recently too (along with recently signing up for LJ) and don't know anyone who uses BSC, so I'd be glad to join you. I live in Cambridge and go to the Wellington Circle, Davis, or Watertown locations.

Oh forgot to mention, I work outside the city so I would usually go either early morning, after 7pm, or on weekends if I'm not out of town skiing or something.

I go to the 9am Monday morning yoga for beginners if you wanna come. The instructor is a great person to have on Monday morning!

Cool. I assume they still have it on Monday even for the holiday, but I can't go because my kids will be home. So, we could plan to meet the following Monday the 24th. I have short brown hair and usually wear black yoga pants and a green tank top and nothing on my feet. You can also email me karen (at) mkmiller (dot) org.

Actually, I did end up going to yoga. Did you? If so, did you like it? There were way more people than normal, like double the regular. At any rate, I'll be there next week.

I did! And I liked it, but oh.my.god.my.bodyyyy.

I hurt so bad, and I was DYING the whole time, haha. I was closest to the door today- saw a couple people in green tops but didn't know which one you were! :) Will definitely be back next week, and poss Thurs night too.

Cool. Yeah, it's hurts at first! I was especially feeling it in my shoulders. After the 2nd time it was already better. I was in the very back yesterday. I saw a skinny person wearing a green shirt, but that's not me. I'm not skinny. :)
