Up for rent is a great room right in Porter Square!
Available August 1st!!!
About the area:
- About 1/2mi to Davis Square, 1mi to Harvard Square, steps to Porter
- Super easy access to the Red Line and Fitchburg Commuter Rail at the Porter Square stop
- Also easy access to 77/87/96 and all Davis Square busses
- Shaw's/CVS/McKinnon's/Planet Fitness/Many Restaurants and much more within an easy walk
- Quiet street with plenty of resident-permit parking
- Easy access to Harvard, MIT, Tufts and a lot more!
About the room:
- It's about 8.5'x11' with a nice window and opens onto the kitchen
- A window A/C unit is INCLUDED
- A white wardrobe unit is included in the room (no closet)
- The bookcase and twin bed with memory foam mattress can also be left in the room if you like
- Shared access to the kitchen, bath and living room
About the apartment:
- It's on a very quiet street in Cambridge on the 3rd floor with front and back staircases.
- Nice, large kitchen that's very well appointed with dishwasher and everything you could ever need to cook just about anything!
- WASHER & DRYER right in the apartment!
- Bathroom with full tub and rainfall shower
- Living room with a NICE entertainment center - big TV, PS3, XBox 360, Wii, HTPC, great sound, blu-ray
- Excellent back yard with porch, bike storage, charcoal and gas meat grills and a veggie charcoal grill
- Some storage available in basement
- Wireless internet (and an on-site techie to help)
- One adorable female cat live here too. ONE additional cat may be OK depending on how well he/she would get along with ours.
About us:
- We are a married (gay) couple, together for 12 years, well established with reliable incomes.
- Our room is on the opposite side of the apartment from the one for rent = few noise issues
- We are geeks (engineer and s/w developer) and foodies - love to cook, grill, talk, play games, watch movies, etc.
- We aren't loud, though like to watch action movies with the sound up sometimes - and occasionally gay pop fills the house. :)
- It's hard to offend us, but we require everyone to be respectful, honest, and trustworthy.
RENT: $650/mo
UTILITIES: 1/3 of total - ranges from $35 - $75/mo ($105 - $225 total)
Potential renters will need to sign a 1-year lease from Sept 1, 2011 with the landlord and will be subject to their approval. If moving in for August, the actual lease will still start Sept 1.
