Bob Slate reopening in Harvard Square this fall

Dear Friends and Customers,

You have been loyal and dedicated beyond measure, so it is with great excitement that we announce that Bob Slate Stationer will reopen for business in the Fall of 2011 under new, local ownership and at a new location! The new owner is working closely with Mallory & Justin Slate to create that signature Slate shopping experience. We hope that you will come by to tell us about your favorite products so that we can try to source them for you.

We look forward to seeing you this fall at our new location 30 BRATTLE STREET in Harvard Square. Many of you may remember this as our previous location, and we hope that customers of all stores can come visit us here between Dickson Brothers hardware and Leatherworld.

Hooray! I saw the sign in that space last weekend and didn't dare to hope I wasn't just being teased. (This is the space above the old Wordsworth Books space, on the left after you go up the stairs.)

It was part of Wordsworth at one point, but first it wasn't and then it was and then it wasn't.

It was a Bob Slate's before it was part of Wordsworth.

The most recent thing in that space has been Beauty and Main.
