After all that about my son's camera being stolen out of the car, my husband found it in the basket of said son's tricycle.

I am SO glad that the only people I allowed to help replace it were relatives, and that I never filed an actual police report.

However, the warning about the heroin addicts in East Medford still stands. *sigh* Dammit.

I sort of figured that you guys getting the message was what this was actually all about. I know that this is how it often works for me--a mistaken conclusion takes my mind on a path different than it would have otherwise gone. After the info, I don't need the mistaken conclusion anymore--it's already done its job.

And realistically, the warning does stand - and applies as much to Davis Square as east Medford, as west Medford, as Malden, as Boston. It's on the rise and shouldn't be ignored.
