What a strange thing to do, reopen after 'permanently' closing. I guess they can get some business from the HONK crowds, though. Maybe they should stay open through Sunday in that case?

That wouldn't make sense for them though given that HONK is mostly in Harvard and then on a boat on Sunday.

but after the HONK parade, there's an Oktoberfest in Davis Square Sunday. (No idea why someone thought it was a good idea to compete with Harvard Square's Oktoberfest on the same day.)
