53 Chester Street, Somerville, MA 02143
Since the house at 53 Chester St, Davis Sq, Somerville was purchased by Michael Ahern in 1976 as a rooming house, the Red Line, Dunkin Donuts, Mac Donalds, Redbones, Starbucks, Diesel Cafe, The Burren, The Foundry, and many other magnets for people have established themselves in Davis Sq.
Now, perhaps, a magnet of a different sort is warrented as Michael wishes to test in what he is calling, "The Exploratory Gallery Exhibition." The event will open on Friday, January 13th, from 5 to 10pm, when a number of scheduled artists will have their work on display. Redbones will be providing appetizers and a trio of live musicians, Quilisma, will be performing. This event marks the opening of a new art venue, the "Change is Good Gallery", hopefully a magnet of a different sort, in Davis Sq.
