Jan.27 !! We decided that Somerville and our side of the river needed a really fun dance party. We grew tired of the same clubs, same long lines and most of all the same songs! The sound at Samba Club is ridiculously good! Our sound is diverse. Lots of Cumbia from Mexico and Brazilian Baile Funk. The theme is BASS which makes us move! Ah, no -- I figured out why. I have some filters like ||fbcdn.net$domain=~facebook.com in my AdBlock Plus configuration, which prevents Firefox from communicating with Facebook when I'm not on the site itself. (My desktop feed reader has no such block.) The OP must have hotlinked the photo directly.

Is there a good reason to want to filter out Facebook graphics on LJ?

I block Facebook images, scripts, etc. from *all* websites (except Facebook) so that FB cannot build a browsing profile of me and sell the data to the highest bidder. (If you're not familiar with web beacons and persistent tracking cookies, you might wish to research them.) It's not the only site I do this with (I use someone else's list of such tracking sites, mostly) but it is the most visible.
