Animal Spirit on Mass Ave will be closing

Animal Spirit, the pet-supply store and doggy-daycare on Mass Ave near Verna's Donuts, will be closing soon. Their lease is up and the owner told me they'd be shutting down "in a couple weeks," presumably whenever they sell off most of their remaining inventory. A lot of stuff is on sale.

I'm sad to see them go.

Yeah. Best price on daycare for our dog, and way more convenient than anywhere else, too. I gotta go by this weekend and stock up on toys and treats, I guess.

Noooooooo! Now where am I going to get Jezebel's claws trimmed for a reasonable price on the weekends? Pet Spa on Somerville Ave. isn't open on weekends, and I'm not sure what else is available. This sucks... *sniff*

Laundromutt (BYOD) is really good and friendly. $9 for a clipping. And you can bathe your dog yourself too with their fancy equipment. And they sell *so* many good treats & chews & supplies.

I ran into problems with them being out of my particular dog food a lot a while back, and they would promise to order it and never did. I switched to online ordering from petfooddirect.com because they deliver, and I need the giant bag of dog food. Also because it's prescription food.
