Michael's in Porter Square will open on Sunday, October 7 -- or maybe Friday, 10/5?

I asked on their Facebook page, and got back this answer:

"The grand opening for the Cambridge store is scheduled for October 7, 2012."

ETA 9/19: But the sign outside the store says it will open on Friday, October 5.

i was just telling people how even though I've left cambridge I still find it necessary to make a porter area pilgrimage once a month (brew shop, china fair, my hair salon on alternate months, and rockler). I can add something else to the list!

it does indeed! we also have two escalators if those are any easier for them.

Which says that the opening day will be Friday, October 5 -- two days earlier than what they told me on Facebook. I guess I should edit this post.

I noticed that! I have to ask the manager about it; i think there was just a mixup between people. we're having a soft opening before we open for real and i'm not actually sure when that is so i'll check with him tomorrow and get back to you!
