does anyone have recs for a place to get my skis sharpened and tuned? they're old-school (and oooold) straight skis, rather than parabolic skis, if that makes a difference, and it's been so long since i've actually been skiing that i have no idea where to take them.

(i have a car, so the place doesn't have to be t-accessible.)

I've been very happy with Ski Haus in Burlington (other side of 128 from the Burlington Mall). If your skis are that old, they might refuse to touch the bindings.

There is Ski Market on comm Ave in Brighton. Had mine done there many years ago. Though, you may want to considering renting a more modern ski - its a much more fun experience.

REI tunes skis. There's one in Reading and the one at landmark center near Fenway.
