Unfortunately, being a victim of both social ostracism + sexual assault isn't terribly unique. It is definitely possible to be in such a position but hold an opinion quite different from the one you've put forward.
(It's very early and I've had very little sleep... if my tone comes off as curt, it isn't intended that way. I typed up a three-paragraph response outlining how those experiences informed my opinions on this issue, but LJ decided that it wasn't fit for posting, apparently.)
