police action today?

I heard something about a police action in Davis Square around 11/11:30 am today.  Does anybody know anything?  The Red Line was closed from Alewife to Harvard Square until noon.

Suspicious package at Davis, eventually determined not to be a threat. I have no details beyond that.

Oh, is that why the #77 bus inbound at Hollis Street was so jammed full around 11:50 am? I had to stand in front of it and block it to get the driver to open the door for me.
