I know, but I kind of assumed that since the state legislature has a senate and all.. but I guess they don't use that term. Whatever, the question still applies. It seems rude to quit any job on such short notice barring an emergency, and this doesn't seem to be one. Especially a job where you ostensibly serve The People.
