Street sweeping reminders not being sent?

Tomorrow is street sweeping on the odd side of the street in my neighborhood, but I didn't get the street sweeping reminder e-mail today from Somerville that I always get at 4pm on the day before.  I looked back and they didn't send one last week either, with the last e-mail from them being on December 2.  Does anyone know what's going on?

I'd sort of assume this is a side effect of the "We extended the street sweeping until the end of the year but didn't update the signs consistently or update the streetsweeper notifications either"?

(I guess it's been years, but it just seems plausible to me.)

That wouldn't account for an email dated December 2d, though, would it?

I just looked and I got reminders through December 11 last year, when they stopped street sweeping early due to snow. I got them through December 26 in 2012.

The cynical person would wonder if the city was attempting to close an end of the year budget gap by turning the service off so they could issue more parking tickets. I've been hearing the street sweeper go by this morning, so they definitely didn't stop it early like they did last year.

I am so frustrated by this. I got tickets the last two weeks because I'm so used to getting those emails (and the last few weeks have been so incessantly crazy for me). I'd love to get the emails turned back on for the duration of street sweeping season!

ugh, what a bummer!

Back in the day, before email updates and when Hubby and I had on-street parking, we kept a Post it reminder on our dashboard for the odd and even number sequences.

I am still getting the reminder email messages. Most recent one was yesterday. Is it possible that they got caught in your spam folder or something?
