Huge Jumbo Statue Arrives on Tufts Campus

Yes, it's huge and it's Jumbo and it's now on Tufts campus.

It will be installed on Thursday in the same location as the old one, though this one is much bigger.





It will tip the scales at 5,000 pounds and stand more than 11 feet tall and 18 feet long—dimensions that would dwarf the familiar elephant statue that has been a landmark on the Tufts campus green since 1993.
