First, when I went to road project hearings on the narrowing of Broadway, the mayor showed up with his aide but no Brazilians were there and the meeting was all conducted in English. Clearly no outreach. This bike lane and landscaping project was a gentrification effort to attract high tech workers working nearby in Kendall and downtown Boston and displace immigrants.
